Gait Lacrosse Terms & Policies

Gait Lacrosse warrants, to the original consumer only, that it's Gait branded products will be free from defects during normal use for the period defined below.

This is provided that:

  1. The item was purchased from an authorized Gait Lacrosse dealer
  2. The customer retains proof of purchase from the original transacation (i.e. store receipt)
  3. The item has not been abused, altered (i.e. pinched), defaced, or otherwise negligently damaged
  4. The return was handled properly according to the Gait return process listed herein

Our warranty policy covers a one time replacement on the originally purchased item only. Gait reserves the right to provide substitutions based on product availability.

Proof of purchase is required for all items being returned as defective You must have Return Authorization (R/A) number to return products

Items sent to Gait without proof of purchase or without an R/A number will NOT be processed and will be returned to the sender.

Lacrosse Heads

Gait warrants that its lacrosse heads will be free from defects during normal use for SIX (6) MONTHS from the date of the original retail purchase. Gait, upon receipt and approval of your return, will send you an unstrung head of the same model. Gait reserves the right to provide substitutions based on product availability. Intentional alterations to heads such as dyeing, melting, pinching or bending will void the warranty on all Gait heads.

Lacrosse Handles

Gait warrants that its lacrosse handles will be free from defects during normal use including severe bends or breakage during normal use.

Warranty terms from date of original retail purchase:

  • Titanium enhanced alloy lacrosse handles - Attack & Goalie Lengths - Six (6) MONTHS
  • Titanium enhanced alloy lacrosse handles - Defense Length - SIXTY (60) DAYS
  • Women's composite handles - SIX (6) MONTHS
  • Men's composite handles - all lengths - THIRTY (30) DAYS

Reminders:

  • Dings, dents, chips (composite), and scratches may occur during normal use and are not covered under warranty.
  • Men's and Women's Aluminum 6000 and Z09 Handles are not covered under warranty.

Gloves & Protective Equipment

Gait warrants that its gloves and protective quipment will be free from defects during normal use for SIXTY (60) DAYS including stitching or material flaws. Normal wear and tear can be expected and is not covered under warranty.

Bags & Apparel

Gait warrants that its bags and apparel will be free from defects during normal use for SIX (6) MONTHS including stiching or material flaws. Normal wear and tear can be expected and is not covered under warranty.

Backyard Accessories

Goals, Nets, Goal Blockers and Bounce-back Walls, have a 90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY. Customers should contact the Customer Service Department if product is missing any parts or directions.

Warranty Exceptions

The following items are not covered by any warranty policy:

  • Promotional items (camp giveaways, raffle items, etc)
  • Men's and Women's Aluminum 6000 and Z09 Handles
  • Stringing Components
  • ALL Mini Sticks / Mini Goals / Mini Accessories

To Process a Return

You must have an RA number to make a return. Packages without an RA number will be refused.

  1. Locate your receipt and confirm that the product you wish to return is still within its warranty period.
  2. Call our Customer Service Department toll-free number 1.800.833.3535 to request a return authorization number.
  3. Package the defective product with proof of purchase and write your return authorization number clearly on the outside of the package.
  4. Ship the package to:

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to Gait Lacrosse.
Gait Lacrosse will pay all normal freight charges (Fedex ground) to send the replacement product.
